Are your products organic?

The plant material from which our CBD is derived is grown using organic methods and is cultivated in the USA. It is currently impossible to certify CBD products as organic.

How do you extract your CBD?

Our CBD is extracted using CO2 extraction. To make CBD isolate, a further process of fractional molecular distillation is applied to the CO2 extract.

What's the difference between Liberty Lotion and Limitless Lotion?

Liberty Lotion contains CBD, or cannabidiol, which is a substance known as a cannabinoid. Cannabinoids are most commonly found in, but are not limited to, the plant Cannabis Sativa. Limitless Lotion, on the other hand, does not contain CBD or any other cannabinoids. Instead, Limitless Lotion contains cannabimimetic ingredients: a cannabimimetic is a substance which emulates or 'mimics' the chemical structure or the effects of cannabinoids but is not an actual cannabinoid. Please see this article at the Liberty Blog for more information on cannabimimetics: Cannabimimetics & Limitless Lotion

Our customers generally report that Limitless Lotion takes effect nearly immediately, while Liberty Lotion can take up to a few minutes to take effect. They also report that the effects of Liberty Lotion last longer, generally 8-16 hours, while duration of effect for Limitless Lotion is reported as 4-8 hours. Due to the unique attributes of each topical, we generally recommend that they be used together. Neither is 'better' or 'stronger' than the other; rather, they compliment each other.

Can using CBD produce a high similar to the high associated with THC?

No, you cannot get high off of CBD; therefore, CBD has no potential for abuse. However, we take slight exception to the claim that CBD is not 'psychoactive'. When someone says that CBD is not 'psychoactive', what they mean is that it does not produce the hallucinogenic experience associated with THC, which is true. However, the truth is that any substance which has an effect on the psyche is by definition psychoactive (psy·cho·ac·tive | sīkōˈaktiv | adjective | (chiefly of a drug) affecting the mind). Personal experience, customer testimonial, and scientific research all points to the conclusion that CBD does in fact impact the psyche; it appears to reduce stress and anxiety and produce a general feeling of calm and well-being. In that sense, it is only accurate to denote that CBD is in fact psychoactive, just not in the same way that THC is psychoactive.

What's the difference between isolate and full-spectrum CBD?

Isolate CBD is pure CBD. Isolate CBD has been through a rigorous extraction process that removes all other terpenes and cannabinoids from the original plant material. Therefore, isolate CBD does not contain any THC whatsoever and, before being mixed into our products, exists in a crystalline rather than an oil form. Full-spectrum CBD (also known as whole-plant CBD) on the other hand, is a CBD extract that has been through a more simplified extraction process, and still contains trace amounts of other cannabinoids, such as CBN, THC, and CBG and terpenes. Opinions vary as to which form of CBD is superior; isolate CBD has the obvious benefit of not containing any THC, which makes it the obvious choice for those who are worried about THC showing up in drug testing. Full-spectrum CBD, on the other hand, has been indicated as having unique benefits derived from the synergetic effect of the different cannabinoids and terpenes working in harmony. Full-spectrum CBD is a better reflection the benefits of the whole plant, while isolate CBD is a more scientifically formulated option with its own unique benefits.

Our products which contain full-spectrum CBD are Liberty Lotion and Liberty Lixir 300mg. Our product which contains isolate CBD is Liberty Lixir ULTRA 1,000mg.

Can using CBD topically or orally cause me to fail a drug test?

We always recommend that, if you are a person who is regularly subjected to drug testing, or if you have an upcoming drug test, that you discuss the use of our products with the party requiring the drug test before using our products. The general climate of growing awareness of CBD products has led many employers and other concerned parties to be more understanding of the use of CBD products. That said, it is extraordinarily unlikely that the use of any of our products in any quantity would result in a positive result for THC on a standard urine drug test. Even our full-spectrum CBD products contain such infinitesimally low concentrations of THC that you would have to ingest truly massive quantities in order to have enough THC in your system to show up in urinalysis. Furthermore, it is utterly impossible to fail a drug test after using our isolate CBD products, since they do not contain any THC at all. And, of course, since Limitless Lotion does not contain any cannabinoids, the use of this product has absolutely zero potential of causing a positive result for THC.

Should I use your topical or internal products for my condition(s)? Should I use both?

As our topical products have a very different effect than our internal products, we generally recommend that both products be used in tandem. Liberty Lotion and Limitless Lotion are transdermal absorption topicals which act directly on the affected area and have very high bio-availability. Liberty Lixir has a full body effect and appears to reduce general chronic inflammation throughout the body. Also, some customers add small amounts of Liberty Lixir to their Liberty Lotion or Limitless Lotion to boost the effects of these topical products, though this is not directly recommended since Liberty Lixir is an oil-based product and will not absorb into the skin as well as our water-based lotions. Generally, our topicals are great for delivering the desired effect directly to the affected area, while our internals seem to be great for overall health & well-being and for countering inflammation wherever it may occur in the body.

Are your products safe to use on pets?

Many of our customers use both our internal and topical products on their pets without any disadvantageous effects. Though it is not recommended that this be tried at home due to the taste, our topicals are designed to be so safe that they could even be ingested if desired, which means that there should be no issues applying these products to any skin, animal or human.
